Color Inspiration Challenge #30

Good evening everyone!
Today I will post a quick card-tag I made for Kristina’s challenge.
It is my first Christmas card for the Season. Hope you like it!

It’s a very simple one.

Well, that’s it for me now. I’ll catch you later!!

A bit of news …

Most of you know that on October 4th. We all celebrated World Card Making Day. WCMD is a holiday especially for card makers around the world. The first Saturday of each October CardMakers celebrate the creativity of handmade cards and the personal connection that they create between friends and family.

Today I’m so VERY excited, thrilled and honored because one of my cards was chosen by lovely people at Paper Crafts Magazine as one of their favorite in the WCMD Event.

This is the card that they picked up:

This is where you can see it.

Kelly Smith from CKMedia emailed me a few days ago asking for my mailing address to send my prize! Can you believe it? I sure have a smile on my face!

Thank you Paper Craft Magazine for choosing my card!

She is having a baby!

Good Evening everyone!!
I have been so lost!!! Well, I am so sorry that I´ve been lost for so many days… The thing is that I am working pretty hard on some “Sweet Fifteen” invitations. I just took a few minutes to post a Card that I made a few months ago. I just wanted to leave something cute tonight. Something you can take a look at, here it is…

Enjoy it!!
Night!

Baby Boy …

Good day everyone!
Today when I visited my blog I saw a lot of traffic and that just made my day, why you would
have been asking, well my blog is new and I have just started this blogging thing and already there are people from all over the world visiting me!!! :) A big thanks to all my visitors and you are welcome back anytime!

This Baby Boy card was very easy to make. Just cut patterned paper 8hx4w. For the boat I used a very “hard to find” die from Sizzix, put buttons on it and made a nice bow at the top. This is great for any baby occasion.

That’s it for me today.

Enjoy your Sunday.

Tags…for my next class.

Good morning to all my followers!

I’m just going about life with a very happy smile on my face. I really love and enjoy what I do; making cards and working on new projects is very relaxing and so sweet, I just love it… those things put a little tune in my heart.

…And since I’ve been lost for many days I have lots to share today. To start I’d love to share some tags I created for my next class. First off, let me tell you how much I love this particular set, each tag is so easy to work and truly beautiful.

The first one. For this one I used an Accucut die for the tag. Added some buttons and inked the edges of the tag so it gives the look that I love to see on them: vintage. I punched a circle and embossed the thank you with my embossing die from CuttleBug. Tied a ribbon around it and that is basically it. Easy right?

For this Happy Birthday tag I too cut the tag using another accucut die. I also cut the cupcake with a pattern, added some glitter and put a button at the top. Punched a little tag for the sentiment and make a knot at the top. Inked the edges for this one, too.

This one is my favorite :) but do not tell anyone. Another tag from accucut dies. Here I made the star, heart and flowers using my Sizzix dies. So like the others, just inked the edges, put some ribbon arond the star and a sentiment on the little heart. And a button on each flower.

This one was very special because when making it was thinking on my best friend. Accucut die for the tag, the flower is one of my Sizzix dies. The sentiment is from Mrs. Grossman (I love all the sentiments they have). I dont know how to call this beautiful “ball ribbon” but I just love the look it gave to my last tag.

I used most Crate Paper on all the tags.

Aren’t they just cute? I love them all!

Well…my time is up…off to get some things done. Have a GOOD day!

Color Inspiration #24

Hi everyone! I made this card for Kristina´s Color Inspiration #24. The colors for this week’s challenge are the ones you see above. All autumn colors: Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Kiwi Kiss and Very Vanilla. My card´s basic layout idea comes from the card that Kristina made for MACM on September 22, 2008.
Here is my take…

Thanks for looking!

Little Cutie …(Made with my latest die from Sizzix)

Hi!
Right now I am working on some tags -everyday tags- for my next classes. I still don´t know the themes I will work with, but thinking on a baby tag. My musa (inspiration) is not around tonight, so I think I better go to bed. But before let me show you a cutie card I made this morning with the latest die I ordered from Sizzix. I just loved the way this little card turned out.

Hope you love it too. Have a beautiful and restful night!

Baby Girl Mini Album

Good evening to everyone! I hope you have enjoyed your weekend as much as I did :). Actually, I spent the whole weekend working on some invitations for a Girl Birthday Party. I had fun making all of them, but at the end of the day (Sunday) I was really tired. Just wanted to go to bed. Anyways, today I am going to show you a project I made for my next class.

It’s a really easy project to make. This mini album looks really great as souvenirs for a baby shower or a gift to someone really special.

hope you like it!!!
I´ll catch you later with my new project. Bye….

My son…

Here is another card using one of my Cricut cartridges, this one is New Arrival. I love giraffes and this one just made me think of my little ones.
