Out for a few days…
Good evening my friends!
Right now I am so far away from kids :(, they are missed so much in my heart, I miss to kiss them, I miss their hugs and little hands around me! –I am in Orlando, Fl visiting my hubby who will be spending two months here (working on some stuff). Anyway, I just wanted you to know that I won’t be updating my blog until I get home, hopefully next Wednesday. I will be visiting some scrapbook stores :) –that makes me a little happy!
Embroidered Elephant card…
Good Monday all!!
Today is a fresh morning thanks God :), yesterday in the afternoon was all rain! we have been enjoying beautiful rolling clouds lately –the kind you can find shapes in– gray thunderstorms and sometimes clear blue skies…all of these in one afternoon, just how I like it (I so love rainy days!), well, enough about whether :)
Today I want to show you a very special card I made … for my babies, yeah! they are my blessing of every day. When I was pregnant my mom and I made all of their bedding, bibs and burp cloths… oh so sweet waiting :) -here’s the card:
I stamped the ‘elephant’ from the Bitty Baby Blessings set and then embroidery it.
I enjoyed this very much and reminded me how fast time flies since our little ones come to our lives … it’s a nice thing to remind myself of once in awhile :)
Have a happy Monday!
My Time to Inspire Challenge
Happy Challenge Time everyone!
Today I visited Alicia’s blog (DT member) and it caught my attention when she talked about keeping life simple, among other stuff. This is the reason why I decided to make my card so simple for this challenge.
Our challenge was based in creating something using these colors, don’t they look beautiful? Well, this is my “simple” creation:
I took a piece of fabric-ribbon and stamped these butterflies– then I stamped the sentiment.
The butterfly stamp is from Stampendous and the Happy Birthday’s from Hero Arts.
Another photo from a different angle:
Don’t forget to upload yours as well on Mr. Linky at Lauren’s blog. And be sure to stop by and see all of the other gals creations:
Okay girls, this is it for me now, enjoy your weekend!
