Baby Shower Invitation+Souvenir

Good Saturday you all!

I have many things to do, so much work to be done but I had to show this sweet creation I made last night.   I just got my last cartridge from Cricut and couln’t resist to create something … just take a look at this:

I just love this set, it’s perfect for a baby shower and it breaks the scheme of the traditional soft blue.

I have to continue working now, hope you have enjoyed it!

Hugs and happy weekend!

Cuttlebug Be Inspired Challenge #78

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Today over at Cuttlebug Challenge Blog there’s much to see!! and I mean every word I say!!  … It’s no a secret to anyone that I love making baby stuff than anything in this world, you know that, don’t you?   Well, today’s challenge is one of the best for me because Maggie (owner of Cuttlebug Blog) challenged us to create sets of baby shower items including invite to gift box, frames etc for baby.   Here’s the first shot of my project:

I decided to use the New Arrival cartridge instead of embossing folders.   This set is perfect for the baby shower of the expected little one!!  Plus I’m sure any mom-to-be will simply LOVE it!

What do you think? What I love about this is you can change the colors and adapt it to a baby shower for a baby boy, that’s one of the reasons why I love my Cricut :)

That’s all for today! I hope you join along in the fun with CuttleBug Challenge Blog and give this theme a try!  For complete details,  please visit our challenge site.  DO NOT forget to visit ALL the DT girls as well! Once you have your creation photographed, be sure to go to Cuttlebug Challenge Blog and post a direct link to your project on our site. If you upload to on online gallery, please be sure to label your project as Cuttlebug Be Inspired Challenge #78.

Take care and enjoy the rest of the week!!

An Invitation in the Style of the Sixties

Hi everyone!

I’m glad I could post something today.  This is one of the many invitations I’ve been working on lately.   The same is related to Style of the Sixties,  this sweet little girl already has her  “15 Years” BIG PARTY.   I made 150 of them, do you imagine how tired I am?  … and this invitation is only one of  many I had to do and still working on many more.   But I thank God for keeping my hand busy on this :)

The text is inside and the name of the person invited is on the tag.

Of course! she gave me permission to post these photos after the party …  and the party is over!!  Enjoy them!

Spring time is here!!

Cuttlebug Be Inspired Challenge #74

Hi Everyone!  Before I get started about this week’s challenge, I would like to let you all know that the reason why I’ve been out of blogging world lately is because I have tons of work to do, so I hope you understand this.  But I promise I’ll be back soon with more new and beautiful stuff for all of you.

Many times we create a piece of art for cards and then we use a PLAIN envelope, I’m so sure most of you agree with me, right girls??  :) –but no worries … you are not the only ones!! … So, Maggie, our team leader at CuttleBug Challenge,  asked us to take the envelope to an art form.     What do you think about this?CuttleBugChallenge74-OdetteMartinez3

To create my envelop-pocket and tag I used THIS Accucut die cut.  My envelope is using “Just My Type” embossing folders.

Cuttlebug Be Inspired Challenge #73

Hi Out there!  –Don’t you feel spring in the air? … I love how it smells,  the fresh air…  humm! –Spring has such a special beauty and hope attached to it.  You know what I mean, right? It’s like having a new beginning!

I would like to thank to all of you who played along with last week’s Wall Hanging project challenge.   And welcome to another CuttleBug Challenge!   This week we encourage you to create a card, a project, an altered item or whatever you have on mind using embossing powder to create a craking glass effect, faux metals etc.   This is what I created:

Following is a close-up picture so you can appreciate the technique and the details.

I used the Provo Craft CuttleBug Victoria embossing folders in my flowers.  THIS is the tutorial I followed to make my craking glass effect.

I hope you can join along with CuttleBug Be Inspired Challenge this week :)  For complete details, please visit us HERE and be sure to visit ALL the DT girls to see what they have created!
